KK Blokotehna recorded its second straight win in the Balkan League. The Gevgelija team visited KS Teuta and won 70-61 after playing better in the fourth quarter. That stopped the Durres side′s run of wins at three and it was their first defeat in the competition. Next week Teuta will travel to Bulgaria to meet Beroe and Academic Bultex 99 while Blokotehna will host Bashkimi.

Teuta had a great start to the game and took an early 15-4 lead. Then Blokotehna answered and finished the first quarter on an 8-0 run to close the gap. The second one was very tight as both sides exchanged baskets as no one took a big lead and at the break the difference was just 2 points.

The low scoring continued after the break and it was Blokotehna that managed to pull away. The visitors took a 6-point advantage but the hosts reacted well with an 8-0 run to take the lead. That however didn′t last long as the Macedonians scored the last four points of the third quarter to finish it up by 2.

Blokotehna had a very good start to the fourth quarter and after a 7-0 run took a 9-point advantage. Teuta managed to answer with 9-2 to quickly close the gap as then both sides continued fighting in a tight contest. With 02:40 to play the home side cut its deficit to just 2 points but that was it. Then Blokotehna made a 7-0 run which practically decided the outcome and gave the team its second win.

Brandon Penn had his best game since joining Blokotehna and finished with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Petar Nikolikj did good with 13points as Danilo Mijatovic had 12.
