Domestic leagues: Blokotehna wins the last derby of Gevgelija for the season

KK Blokotehna-NB recorded a win in the last derby of Gevgelija this season. Together with the Balkan League games, this was the sixth time they met Kozuv and Bloko took another victory after beating its rival 93-84 away.

That victory came after a great final quarter. With a good performance in the second Kozuv pulled away by 10 points and the difference remained the same before the last ten minutes. There was enough time however for Bloko to make the desired comeback and to win at the end.

Kenet Funderburg had a monster game for the winners finishing with 40 points. Bozo Djumic was the next best scorer with 19 points adding also7 rebounds while Marjan Mladenovikj was close to a triple-double finishing with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists.

Evan Payne led the home team with 21 points as Igor Kesar had anouther double-double with 19 and 14 rebounds.

With two rounds to go in the Superleague Blokotehna is third with 20 wins and 8 defeats while Kozuv is fifth with 13-15 record.
