KB Rahoveci will not finish the season in the Balkan League

Today, Wednesday 04.03.2020, the game between KB Peja vs KB Rahoveci has been cancelled.

The management of KB Rahoveci, with the approval of Kosovo Basketball Federation, informed the Balkan League that they will not participate any more in any future games of BIBL in season 2019-20 due to financial issues and incapability to secure the budget for an international competition participation.

In the following 48 hours the BIBL management will publish the program for the rest of the season which main purpose will be to provide to all 4 remaining teams the same equal conditions to play and to win the title of BIBL season 2019 -2020.

Regarding the decision that KB Rahoveci took to stop playing in the 3rd stage of BIBL, the  management of the league will act according to the regulations and the agreement that was signed between BIBL and KB Rahoveci in August 2019.

We will keep our way and always support the teams and the basketball in our region.
