Akademik Plovdiv adds a new point guard

The Group E leader BC Akademik Plovdiv has added a new point guard to the team. Jahii Carson has signed with the team until the end of the season after Adriyan Sekulov got injured.

Carson is coming with a vast experience having been part of numerous teams since starting his professional career back in 2014. He has played in Serbia, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Cyprus and Iceland. Perhaps Carson's best season came in 2017-2018 when he was the fifth best score in Greek championship. Between 2012 and 2014 he played for Arizona Stage in NCAA.

Carson will be able to make his debut for Akademik on Thursday evening. His team, which is already qualified for the Second Stage, will host KK Ibar at 18.00 hrs.
