Balkan opens up the friendly games with a victory

BC Balkan has started the friendly games before the new season with a win. The Botevgrad team visited Zdravlje in Serbia and took 81-72 victory in a hard fought game.

The visitors took a lead of 5 points at the break and thanks to a good third quarter managed to increase it to 14 points. The hosts then tried a comeback and closed the gap but they had no chance to complete such.

Derrick Marks was the top scorer for the winners with 23 points. The captain Dimitar Dimitrov added 12 points while Nikolay Grozev and youngster Iliyan Pishtikov had 10 apiece.
