BC Balkan recorded its first win of the season after beating BC Levski at home. Following the win, here is what the head coach of the team - Nebojsa Vidic, had to say:

"We had to decide the game earlier. We didn't make proper decisions, especially on offense. They have three very good foreign players and Bulgarian NT players, so they have the quality to punish us. Am I satisfied 100%? No. But of course nobody can come and play against Balkan on our home court and we would not think to win.

I'm not satisfied because we should play much quicker with higher pace. This team needs more time to react quicker on some tactical situations on the court. I don't know how far are we from what we want to see but the break for the National team games will for sure help us."

The captain Dimitar Dimitrov had a solid game with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Here are his words:

"I think the game was difficult for us early but we managed to be close for Levski. I think that overall we controlled the game. We won and that was our goal.

For sure we were nervous. It's a game against Levski which is always important. Both teams didn't enter the game well and that's why I think that it seemed that way during the game.

We need to be focused for 40 minutes in order to have a chance to win any game. In the fourth quarter we showed higher intensity and that's why we won."
