Ironi Nahariya recorded its sixth win in a row in Group B of Delasport Balkan League. The Israelis defeated Ibar 79-70 away in their second game in as many days. That puts them on a 6-1 record which means that they can't go below 2nd place. Tomorrow they'll play their third game in three days as they'll visit Sigal Prishtina which is the only team that can deny them the first position. In the meantime Ibar now has 3-6 record and with one game to go against Ironi in Israel, the team can't qualify for Stage 2 as they have a tiebreaker disadvantage with both TFT and Beroe who are battling for the fourth position.

The game itself was very close from start to finish despite the fact that the visitors won all four quarter. The difference in each one however was not more than four points so Ibar always had a chance. As Ironi started the last quarter with two straight triples, the difference reached 13 points and a bit later it went to 15. That turned out to be the decisive moment as until the final buzzer the visitors controlled their advantage and held on without any trouble.

Ironi hit 10 triples from 31 attempts which compared to 3 of 18 for the hosts was too much to overcome. Moreover they had just 9 turnovers while Ibar had 11 more which was also an important factor.

Tomer Cohen was the top scorer for the winners and in the game with 17 points. Dustin Thomas once again did well by adding 16 points and 6 rebounds as Omer Poleg scored 13.

The hosts had five players in double-digits with Marko Ljujic leading the way with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Three others scored 12 points each - Vasilije Knezevic (11 rebounds), Armin Kalic and Nemanja Knezevic.
