Ms. Tocala who is also the Vice President of FIBA Europe was very pleased to hear that BIBL will finally open a Women's competition this fall and that Romanian clubs will have the opportunity to compete on both the male and female stages. The parties discussed the crucial importance of the international competition to the domestic clubs, the development of the local players and referees which was one of the foundation principles in 2008. It was Romania led by Ms. Tocala 15 years ago which along with the Bulgarian, Serbian and North Macedonian Federations supported the creation of the Balkan League and ever since the cooperation has always been on a very high level.

Ms. Tocala and her managing crew will start immediately presenting the 2 competitions to their teams in order to choose as soon as possible the best representatives to be registered.
