KB Bashkimi lost to KK Millennium Kodio with 58-66 in the first game for both teams in the new season in the Delasport Balkan League. Here is what assistant coach Edon Godeni had to say after the match:

“We didn't expect to perform like this. I do not know what to say. We had no motivation and I don't know why. We had no energy. We got into a rhythm but after Prentiss Nixon's injury our motivation was different. This is unacceptable. We need to do some analysis. We can't play like that, especially away from home. We need to have more focus before a game and play our game. On Sunday we play with Trepcha in the local championship. We need to improve our performance.”

 Here's what Qendrim Biraj had to say after the match:

“Everything went wrong. Lack of motivation. We underestimated this team that we hadn't played before. We didn't have much information about him.”
