As the Final 4 approaches, two AEL Limassol foreign stars shared their opinions on Delasport Balkan League competition and the quest to become champions.Darrel Davies:
The level is very competitive, the tempo is good, a lot of guys are here to compete. I have played in Kosovo so I know Peja and Prishtina, also have played before in the Balkan League. Those are good teams coming here to compete, but we are here to play our A game, and if we do that we can be champions.
It's important that we can play in front of our fans and if we can be champions, it will be golden. I am grateful to be here and I have never experienced such fans as here.
Adong Makuoi:
It's really good competition. We had a good year mostly, personally, I could have been more consistent but it's my first year in Europe. The Balkan league gave us the chance to see different countries, parts of Europe, and competitive guys as well. There is always a bit of pressure, but this is basketball, you have to embrace it. I appreciate the fan's support. They might seem a little crazy at times, but that is their way of showing us love.
