PAYABL EKA AEL qualified for the final in the Delasport Balkan League. The hosts of the Final Four defeated KB Peja after 99:94.

 

Michalis Mithillos helped the Cypriots to a valuable victory with 5 points and 1 assist. Here's what he said after the win:

 

"We dedicate this win to our fans. It's the first time that I have experienced such an atmosphere. It truly felt like having a 6th player on the field. I feel blessed to be a part of this team, along with the team's administration, coaching staff, and players. We work hard every day and hope to bring home the trophy on Sunday, securing a European title after 21 years.

Captain Marios Moniatis added:

"I was part of this team when we competed in the second division and faced financial problems without foreign players. Now, AEL has changed and we are in the European Finals with the possibility of winning the trophy. I was a child when AEL won its first European title, and I hope to win it now as well. We played and fought for our fans, on Sunday will be something outstanding with them.
