Third final - third title for Sigal Prishtina after a great championship game in Limassol

Sigal Prishtina is the 2023/24 champion in Delasport Balkan League!

In a very hard-fought final in Limassol, against the host AEL the Kosovo team won 72-67.

AEL seemed to have an edge and was flying high in front of enthusiastic home fans. The Cypriot team started with a 6-0 run and had a slight advantage into the second quarter.

Despite the tough crowd around, Prishtina held its ground and turned things around before the break. They made 7 unanswered points and kept climbing up to reach 9 points advantage in the quarter. The break came at 30-37 but still left a lot to be done.

AEL started again on a good note in the second half and made a 14-0 run for a lead in the third. The hosts also reached a biggest lead of 9, but it was far from over.

Prishtina had another comeback and tied it at 51-51 early in the last quarter.

From there on on the floor, we had half of dozen ties and lead changes.

The pressure got the worst from AEL and the team with better nerves won a hectic final part of the game.

Shaheed Davis is the Final MVP with 16 points, while Donte Clark and Malcolm Armstead scored 15. Diamond Stone closed the duel with 14 points.

Jordan Sheperd and Jerai Grand had 17 apiece for AEL.

With the triumph in this final, Prishtina gets the third BIBL trophy and the first after the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.
