The 2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League runner-up - Levski Sofia will play in the finals of the Bulgarian NBL for the third straight year. Titi Papazov′s side defeated Yambol 87:89 away from home in Game 4 and closed the semifinal series at 3-1.
 
Aaron Harper scored 38 points for Levski on 17/27 shooting. Chavdar Kostov came off the bench with 14 points, while Hrisimir Dimitrov and Marcus Hall scored 11 points each.
 
Martin Durchev led Yambol in scoring with 29 points, Stanislav Govedarov added 25 and John Ofoegbu had a double-double - 18 points and 13 rebounds.
 
In the finals Levski will face Lukoil Academic, as the first game will be played in Pravetz on May 22nd.

BC Timisoara lost the first game of the finals in the Romanian championship. Predrag Badnjarevic′s boys fell short at home against Ploiesti and lost by 15 points of difference - 89:104.
 
The visitors were in control durign the entire time and didn′t allow Timisoara to turn things around.
 
Zlatko Jovanovic was the top performer for the home side with 24 points and 5 assists. Bogdan Popescu added 14 points, Dominique Archie had 13 and 7 rebounds while Branko Cuic scored 11 points.
 
Aleksandar Vlahovic shined for Ploiesti with 26 points. Darius Hargrove added 18 and Catalin Burlacu finished with 17.
 
The second game is today once again in Timisoara.

Hapoel Tel Aviv won the title in the Israeli National League and will return to the Premier League from next season after six years of absence. Erez Edelshtein′s side closed the final playoff series against Maccabi Beer-Yakov at 3-1, after an 56-83 blowout win away from home.
 
Curtis Kelly led the winners with 19 points. Demontez Stitt added 15 points, Cory Carr had 13 and Yonathan Skjoldebrand came off the bench scoring 11 points.
 
Chris Watson had 14 points for Maccabi, Jermaine Hall added 13 and Nate Miller finished with 10.
 
Hapoel finished the regular season at the first spot with a balance of 22-4 and defeated respectively Ironi Ramat in the quarterfinals and Ironi Nes-Ziona in the semifinals.

Hapoel Tel Aviv achieved a blowout win in the third game from the final playoffs of the National League in Israel - 85:65 against Maccabi Beer Yakov and now has a 2-1 lead in the series.
 
Four players finished in double digit scoring for Erez Edelshtein′s team, led by Curtis Kelly who had 19 points and 11 rebounds. Yonathan Skjoldebrand added 18 points along with 7 boards, Cory Carr scored 16 points and Matan Naor finished the game with 11. Demontez Stitt had 9 points, 7 assists and 10 rebounds.
 
Jermaine Hall led Maccabi in scoring with 21 points, Yoad Bet-Yosef added 14 and Nate Miller added 13.
 
 

The 2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League champion - BC Galil Gilboa finished their season at the earliest stage of the playoffs in Israel. Lior Lubin′s side lost the quarterfinal series against the team of Maccabi Ashdod 3-1, after another home loss - 80:82 in the fourth game.
 
Galil Gilboa entered the fourth quarter of the game leading 62:59, but Ashdod won 18:23 in the decisive period and celebrated a well-earned 80:82 victory and a spot in the semifinals where they will face the winner from Maccabi Rishon and Ironi Ashkelon.
 
Romeo Travis scored 18 points in the losing effort for Galil. William Hatcher added 16 points and 4 assists, Dagan Yivzori had 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Courtney Fells scored 13 points.
 
Josh Carter led Maccabi Ashdod with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Meir Tapiro and Inan Iram added 16 points each.
