BC Timisoara continues to prepare for the upcoming 2011/2012 season and their participation in the EUROHOLD Balkan League. After signing Branko Cuic and Zlatko Jovanovic, along with hiring Predrag Badnjarevic as head coach, the Romanian team has another new addition to their roster.
 
Dominique Archie is a 201-cm tall forward, born on the 19th of August 1987 in Augusta, Georgia. He played college basketball at the University of South Carolina. In his four years with the USC Gamecocks he appeared in 98 games, averaging 10.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.0 assists per contest.
 
In 2010/2011 he played in 15 games for the Austin Toros in the NBDL, having average stats of 5.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists. 
 
As a junior in college he was named to the All-SEC Second Team and also to the SEC All-Defensive team. In his freshman year he was named to the All-Freshman Team of the South Eastern Conference.
