Galil defeated Hapoel and will face Levski in the final Romeo Travis

Galil Gilboa will play against Levski in the final of the 2012 EUROHOLD Balkan League, as in the second semifinal, which was the "Israeli" one, they defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv72:88 . After the win Galil will play in the final game win their debut season, where they will face the 2010 BIBL champions Levski Sofia.
 
Demontez Stitt scored the first basket of the night, as Hapoel remained ahead in the opening minutes of the first quarter. The visitors led by four points - 5:9 with 6.49 left in the first quarter. Galil Gilboa started playing better and went on a 5-0 run, and were ahead by one point - 10:9. The visitors from Tel Aviv once again managed to get the lead once again, after Matan Naor made two free-throws for 10:13. Galil′s response were six straight points, which gave Lior Lubin′s side a 16:13 lead with less than three minutes to go in the first period. The home side remained ahead for the rest of the opening quarter and after 10 minutes of play they held a 20:18 lead.
 
The home team got off to a strong start in the second period, extending their lead first to four (22:18) and after that to five (26:21). Hapoel managed to cut the deficit down to two points twice, but they couldn′t tie the score or break ahead of the opposition. Gilboa extended it back to six points with 5.40 left - 34:28. Courtney Fells gave Galil their first double-digit lead of the night with 3.25 remaining in the second quarter - 38:28. The lead continued to grow, as 2.31 before the end Dagan Yivzori scored for 42:28. Halfway through the game Galil Gilboa held a well-earned 16-point lead - 50:34.
 
Right after the start of the second half Hapoel Tel Aviv started to slowly erase the deficit between them and their opposition. For a little more than five minutes into the second half, Hapoel managed to decrease the difference down to six points, as Galil′s lead was 55:49 with 4.53 left to play in the third quarter. However the home team scored - Nimrod Tishman made it 57:49, and soon they led by double digits once again - 64:53 with 2.09 to go after a succesful jumpshot by Joseph Jones, which forced Erez Edelshtein to take a time-out. By the end of the third quarter Galil Gilboa remained in the "driver′s seat" leading by 13 - 68:55.
 
Nothing really changed in the fourth quarter, as Galil continued with their domination, leading the game by 15 points - 74:59 with 6.19 remaining to play. Galil were in complete control of what was happening on the field, as they enjoyed the rest of the game, along with their fans who were supporting them during the whole time. The final score was settled at 72:88.
 
Romeo Travis and Joseph Jones led Galil Gilboa, scoring 17 points each. Courtney Fells had 14, while Dagan Yivzori and Nimrod Tishman scored 12 and 11.   Bar Timor had 15 for Hapoel, Curtis Kelly added 14 and Jonathan Skjoldebrand finished with 13.
