Ljubislav Lukovic, head coach of KK Kumanovo 2009: We′ll be very motivated against Galil Gilboa

Ljubislav Lukovic is the head coach of KK Kumanovo 2009. His team is one of the participants in the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League and in the semifinal is meeting current champion Galil Gilboa. Two days before the match here is what Lukovic had to say:

"We are going to be without one of our main players in Samokov - Ivica Dimcevski. We played a very good season in EUROHOLD Balkan League and the players took part in important games which helped them to increase their quality. We reached the Final 4 and now we have other players with problems as wel. However we have to go with maximum motivation for the game with Galil Gilboa and to show the best we can - to play well and to hope to make some surprise.

Galil is a team with very good individuals and probably in the local league is the team that plays the best basketball in the last 6-7 games. Their form is now better and took some victories to move up in the standings. Knowing the budget they have probably everybody expect them to beat us. However we′ll not give up and will be motivated against one of the favourites so we can play our best game in this season.

I don′t believe there will be organized fans from Kumanovo coming to Samokov. However I′ll be able to tell more after the game we play against Rabotnicki. Of course if our fans Kumani decide to support us in Samokov this will help us. In this season we had some very good games and some very good results and one of the reasons for that is our fans Kumani who support us in EUROHOLD Balkan League and in the local championship. I want to thank them for that and we′ll try to provide them with good performance."
