Vladimir Georgiev, Mayor of Samokov: Samokov has traditions in basketball and we love this game!

From 19th to 21st of April Samokov will host the Final 4 of EUROHOLD Balkan League. The city located in the mountain Rila will welcome the top four teams in the competition this season as they will determine the fifth champion. Here is what the Mayor of Samokov Municipality - Mr. Vladimir Georgiev had to say for the competition official brochure:

Dear participants and guests of EUROHOLD Balkan League season 2012-2013 Final 4,

Three days - from 19th to 21st of April, Samokov will be the basketball capital of the Balkans. I′m glad that we received the trust of EUROHOLD Balkan League Management to host again this prestigious event. We as part of the organizing committee will try to make the Finals of the tournament a real celebration - combination of show, basketball game, and sports generally. Samokov Municipality has always supported the sport in our city and hosting competitions of such ranking are proof that our efforts are rewarded.

Our city deserves it because we offer excellent conditions for the organizing of the Final 4.
