Balkan finished third in EUROHOLD Balkan League. In the game for that position The Greens from Botevgrad defeated the hosts of the Final Four Sigal Prishtina by a score of 79-73. The Bulgarian team made a good run in the fourth quarter which broke the tie and was the key for the success.    Both teams couldn′t score a lot in the first minutes but at one point Balkan made a 9-2 run to move up by 7 points. Sigal scored the last three of the quarter and in the second with 11-0 to take the lead. However Balkan quickly managed to respond with 7 straight points but the last four, including in the last second, were for the hosts as they went up by a point at the break.   A 10-0 run for Sigal in the third quarter gave the team an 8-point lead but Balkan finished the quarter with 7 straight points to cut the deficit to 1. The Greens also took the lead at the start of the fourth quarter and then the hosts tied the game. At one point though Balkan scored three straight triples plus one basket and a free throw for a 12-0 run. This was the key moment of the match a after that the hosts coudln′t come back and close the gap.   Pavel Marinov was the top scorer for the winners with 18 points as he added also 7 rebounds. Logan Stutz had 14 points while 13 scored Martin Marinov.   For the home team Blerim Mazreku had 25 points as Tay Waller added 13.
