Nicholas Covington joins Peja

Nicholas Covington is the newest player in KB Peja. The American point guard joined the team a few days ago and already made his debut. Tonight he will also make such in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League when KB Peja hosts BC Levski 2014.

Covington started the season in Romania playing for Craiova. With that team he had seven matches and averaged 9.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists. In his first game for Peja the point guard finished with 8 points and 5 assists in 22 minutes again Bashkimi.

Covington already has experience in BIBL back from 2010/2011 season. He played three matches with Timisoara and averaged 17.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

In recent years he played also in the NBA Development league for teams like Idaho Stampede, Erie Bay Hawks, Iowa Energy and Westchester Knicks. Covington has also played for Utah Jazz in NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
