Beroe overcomes Peja to reach the final in a tournament

Two of the participants in BIBL upcoming season - BC Beroe and KB Peja, met in the semifinal of a friendly tournament in Plovdiv. The team from Stara Zagora got the better at the end and took a 76-73 victory. 

Beroe led for most of the game but early Peja had the advantage. The Greens then made a 10-0 run to go up by 6 and in the third quarter the difference reached 11 points. Peja though responded with 10-0 to regain the lead but Beroe answered quickly. The team regained its lead and held on in the final quarter.

Stjepan Tesija and Shane Gibson were top scorers for the winners with 14 points each while Nikolay Nikolov added 13.

LaMarcus Reed had 21 points for Peja as Noah Dahlman added 18.
