Domestic leagues: Beroe lost to the champions

BC Beroe suffered its second defeat in Bulgarian league. The Stara Zagora team visited the champions Lukoil Academic and fought hard before losing 72-82. With that result Beroe is now second in the league with 4-2 record.

Lukoil started better and took 12-2 lead but Beroe answered quickly. The visitors even led for most of the time but a 7-0 run at the start of the fourth quarter gave the hosts the lead and in the final five minutes Beroe didn′t score and eventually lost.

Shane Gibson finished with 17 points and 8 rebounds for Beroe while Aaron Jones had 16 and 7.
