The game KB Trepca - KB Peja is suspended, the visitors win it 20-0

The game between KB Trepca and KB Peja was suspended. As a result of that a 20-0 win for the visiting team was awarded.

With 5:33 to go in the third quarter and Peja leading 54-47, the home fans started throwing objects on the court and one of the referees and one of the visiting team′s players were hit. At that point the referees decided to empty the gym but as the fans refused to leave it for a long time, the match was suspended.

After the Sports Director of SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League Mr. Shay Shtriks consulted the commissioner and the crew chief, he took decision that the game has to be stopped and cannot continue and informed the president of Kosovo federation Mr. Erolld Belegu about it. All that means that a 20-0 win for Peja is awarded and in the same time no points for Trepca.

After the game was suspended the police of Mitrovica will assist the referees and Peja′s team about their safe leaving of the city.

BIBL will take further actions and decision according to the regulations after receiving the official report by the commissioner.
