BIBL Second Stage Round 1 MVP: Petar Kusovac

KK Teodo defeated the the only Kosovan team in the Second Stage of SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League KB Peja, 104-84. Th? Montenegrin team secured its high-flying first week of action in this phase of the competition by a great performance of Petar Kusovac. 

Montenegrin power forward scored 20 points and registered a performance index rating of 29, which was the highest among all players in this round. He made five of his seven two-pointers attempts, two out of three beyond the arc and four of seven on his trips to the foul line.

Kusovac also grabbed eight rebounds, dished four assists and also added a steal in 32 minutes on the court.

The weekly runner-up for the MVP honor is a four-way tie between the Macedonian center of KK Kumanovo 2009 Marjan Janeski, Serbian point guard of KK Teodo Milan Stanojevic, the American point guard of BC Beroe Brandis Raley Ross, and also his fellow Congolese power forward teammate Omari Gudul. All four of them posted an index rating of 22.
