Beroe to open the Bulgarian cup

The Cup of Bulgaria will start with two games tonight. The first of them will see BC Beroe going out against Cherno more as the team will set to defend at least its third place from last year.

12 months ago Beroe achieved a historic result by winning its first medal in any competition. Now the team enters as a favourite to at least reach the semifinal but the ambitions are even higher.

If Beroe manages to defeat Cherno more than on Saturday the team will play the winner of the game Academic Plovdiv - Spartak Pleven.

The other two quarterfinals are as follows: Lukoil Academic - Yambol and Rilski Sportist - Balkan. The winners of those two matches will meet in the other semifinal.
