KK Kozuv defeated KB Peja, 77-67, in the last SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League quarterfinal clash, but the Kosovan team still occupied the last spot in the semifinals due to a 17-point lead in the first match.

It started as a close game, but the hosts in 26th April, Gevgelija used a 16-0 run to break open a 28-13 double-digit margin after the end of the first quarter, but Peja soon came back within five points for 30-35.

The Macedonian side though managed to stay ahead by 43-36 at half time. Peja fell behind by 11 again early in the third frame, but its starting five kept them in the game. Although, the hosts never looked back, cutting the 17-point deficit from Game 1 seemed like an impossible task.

Bojan Krstevski led the winners with 20 points. Kenyon McNeal Jr. added 19, Larry Hall followed with 13, and Milivoje Mijovic and Nikola Djurasovic (10 rebounds) scored 11 each.

Jamie Billie was one rebound shy of a double-double with 22 points and nine boards for Peja. Cameron Rundles had 14 points, just as many as Slobodan Miljanic, who also collected nine rebounds.

On 21 March, 2017 KB Peja will host KK Kumanovo 2009 in the first semi final of the competition.
