Marjan Srbinoski: We need to stop Beroe′s transition and offensive boards

KK Kumanovo 2009 is set to play its first ever final in SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League. Tomorrow the team will visit BC Beroe in the first game and of course will be hoping to get a good result. Here is what the head coach of the team - Marjan Srbinoski, had to say 24 hours before the tip-off:

"As you know, we had a difficult run of games. On Saturday we played in Gevgelija and didn′t have much time to prepare for the final. We are going two have only two special trainings for Beroe and we′ll see tomorrow if we are going to succeed. 

For me Beroe is the most quality team in BIBL this season. They are playing fast and attractive basketball while using 10-11 players which allows them to keep a high rhythm. If we can stop their transition game and their offensive rebounding, we can hope for a good result before the second game.

Of course we are going out for the win. However given the quality of Beroe any defeat until 7-8 points will be good for us before the return game in Kumanovo. It will be really hard but we′ll give the best we can at the moment and we′ll see what the result will be."
