Battle at the top in Plovdiv

There is one game today in SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League but it′s an important one. At 18.00 hrs local time in Plovdiv the local Akademik Bultex 99 will host KK Blokotehna-NB in a battle at the top. The match will be broadcast LIVE on BNT World and SportMedia.tv.

Both teams share the same record with 3 wins and 1 defeat. Akademik lost for the first time in the league last week after a drama with Rilski Sportist. This means the team will look to bounce back and will do its best tonight.

Akademik can count on the return of Maodo Nguraine who missed last week′s game. He will for sure help under the basket which is the place the most problems for Akademik came. Of course we have the inspired performance of Umipig, Durchev and Johnson for the hosts but in order to get a win the likes of Bachev, Smith and Vaklinov will have to step up as well.

Blokotehna is going well so far in the league and the good news is the return of Kazarnovski. He is giving more options under the basket where the Gevgelija team has a lot of players. Of course until now Mijatovic, Benjamin and Mallory are the main go to guys and once again they′ll be the ones coach Ilievski will look to. Blokotehna will try to run and it will be Akademik′s tough task to stop that.
