BIBL is back

After a break of two weeks SIGAL-UNIQA Balkan League is back with two games tonight. The competition will resume with matches in Kosovo and Albania as there will be a big fight for the win in both places.

First at 18.30 local time SK Tirana will host BC Rilski Sportist. The match will be LIVE on Albanian National TV and SportMedia.tv. The hosts will be looking to stay perfect at home and to get another win in front of their fans. They will count on the familiar likes of Hysenagolli, Shima, Abdul-Bassit and Strowbridge to do so. On the other side Rilski comes as the only unbeaten team in the competition and will be trying to remain like this. The Samokov squad is playing really well so far and is relying on a good team performance. Wright. Georgiev, Marinov and Bozov are the leaders of the team and when Marincheshki, Taylor and Jeter are helping, the things for Rilski are looking really good. This is what head coach Hadjisotirov will count on, good team play and hard defense to leave Tirana with a win.

The other game tonight sees KB Bashkimi hosting BC Akademik Bultex 99. It will start at 19.30 hrs local time and will be LIVE on KTV, SportMedia.tv and YouTube. The hosts will be going for another win in front of its fans as Zekiqi, Knight, Motley and Hanner will try to lead them to that. Ljubo Samadan left the team and that could cause problems under the basket but in its gym Bashkimi is a different team and the hustle and energy will be keys in order to compensate that absence. Akademik on the other side also has some problems under the basket as Johnson was out injured and is doubtful. However the backcours is really strong as Umipig and Smith are having good season and the likes of Durchev and Bachev are helping in a good way. There′s no doubt we′ll expect a heated contest as both teams will have their chances and the decisions in key moments will be the main factor for the final outcome.
