Domestic leagues: Big win for Levski in Plovdiv, Rilski won in Varna
BC Levski 2014 recorded a really important away win. In a battle between two BIBL teams the Blues overcame BC Akademik Bultex 99 by 96-77 in Plovdiv.
Levski played a great first half which finished with 28 points difference. In the second the hosts managed to cut the deficit to 14 but never really had any chance.
Deyan Karamfilov finished with 21 points and 6 assists for the win as Aleks Simeonov and Kris Minkov had 17 points apiece. Isiah Umipig scored 22 for Akademik while Vasil Bachev added 19 points.
Rilski Sportist also managed to take an away win after 80-73 in Varna against Cherno more. The game was very even as the Samokov team pulled away with a 9-0 run early in the second half. They kept a small lead until the end and stopped every attempt by the hosts to overcome the deficit.
Yordan Bozov and Martin Marinov scored 22 points apiece for the win.
Rilski Sportist is currently second with 7-3 record but also with a game more than Balkan. In the same time Levski and Akademik share the fourth place with 6 wins and 4 defeats.
