Darko Kostic is the new head coach of Akademik Bultex 99

BC Akademik Bultex 99 will have a foreign coach for the first time in its history. The Serbian Darko Kostic is the chosen one to replace Asen Nikolov who will continue as a General Manager.

Kostic is coming from Serbian team OKK Beograd where he was in charge last season. The one before he was the assistant to one of the most familiar names in the country - Vlado Djurovic. 

Akademik Bultex 99 will be a part of the Balkan League for second season in a row. The Plovdiv team is one of the six that have confirmed until now their participation in the competition.
