Daishon Knight: Barsy played really hard

Daishon Knight was the top scorer for Academic Bultex 99 in the team′s win over BC Barsy. The American scored 20 points while also dishing out 8 assists. Here is what he said following the game:

"They were really strong physically. They kind of surprised us when they came out. They hit, they set hard screens, they played really hard. They are young players and came out to compete from Kazakhstan which is too far and I can give them good credit.

We played a good game. We ran when we needed to run, we followed our game plan and we came out with the win.

We came wanting to play fast, to get the ball to our wings in order to push ahead. We wanted to play fast up and down which is what we practice.

We are coming along day by day with practice and games. We are learning each other better and better, the coaches are working hard and we are getting better. The Balkan league is a good one, you get to play again different teams from different countries which is also helping us in some way."
