Lubomir Minchev: It′s satisfying to get such a win in our situation

BC Beroe recorded its 6th win in a row and is the only unbeaten team in the Balkan League. Here is what the head coach Lubomir Minchev had to say after the victory over Blokotehna:

"I think it′s very satisfying to get the win in the difficult situation we are in with the absence of Frankamp, Bachynski and Tonev. Our rotation was really limited. I was surprised that we scored so many points with some of our top scorers not playing. We played very well in the first part of the game with just 4 turnovers but we made 15 in the second and this makes me angry. 

We don′t have a lot of time to practice in the next few days. The matches are one after another so it′ll be a hard week for us."

The youngster Evgeni Vasilev was in the starting line-up for Beroe and finished with 5 points. The guard said the following after the game was over: 

"I think we played at a good level. The fact that we have problems with injured players must be taken into consideration. Despite that we tried to follow our coach′s instructions and the things worked out. We managed to score a lot of points and we were solid in certain moments in defense."
