KS Teuta is the first team to officially qualify for the Final Four in the Balkan League. That happened as the team won its fourth game in a row after beating KK Kozuv 79-70 at home. It was another close game for the Albanians who however once again showed great nervers at the end to seal the victory. It puts them on a 7-3 record which means that they can′t fall out of the Top 4. As for Kozuv, which now has 1-6 record, the chances are really slim now as the team will have to win its last five games and hope for good results in the others. Teuta′s next match is on February 6h away at Blokotehna while Kozuv will meet Bashkimi a day earlier at home.

Teuta started great and opened the game with a 10-2 run. Kozuv managed to quickly tie the game and from than moment on the teams fought really hard. The visitors however were never able to take the advantage as the hosts were creating some gap only to see it being close. That was the story for 37 minutes when the Macedonians managed to tie the score again.

Finally with three minutes to play Kozuv managed to take a 1-point lead after Karakolev made just one from three free throws. Their first advantage didn′t last long as the hosts responded with a basket by Hysenagolli and a triple by Wilson to go up by 4 a minute later. Williams scored for the visitors in the next offense but it turned out to be the last basket they made. The final seven points of the game were scored by Teuta was the team held on to celebrate its Final Four qualification.

CJ Wilson was the top scorer for the winners with 20 points including some very important at the end. Endrit Hysenagolli and Eric Copes scored 16 points apiece while the Albanian center had a double-double adding 13 rebounds.

Devaugntah Williams was really active for Kozuv and finished with 20 points in his BIBL debut. Igor Kesar also performed well by adding 16 points as Nikola Karakolev added 13. Kozuv had the advantage to score 6 more triples (10 to 4) but unfortunately for them it wasn′t enough to get the win.
