Asen Nikolov: Motivation and desire will be the keys for success

BC Academic Bultex 99 managed to reach the Final Four in its second season in the Balkan League. A big reason for that was the coaching change just before the end of 2018 which made Asen Nikolov return to the bench. Here is what he had to say before the F4 starts and before the semifinal game against KK Blokotehna-NB:

"We are very happy to be in the Final Four. Each team has a chance to win. We had a lot of games recently and didn′t have a lot of time to prepare but we′ll do everything to be ready and in top form for the first game.

I′m expecting really difficult matches. The key to success will be the motivation and the desire of the players.

There were a lot of interesting games and surprising results during the season. However I think that the Final Four teams deserved to be there and fight for the trophy. Every coach would like to play again the games that he lost but this is impossible. We just have to think about the next one. I wish success to all the teams and to my colleagues."
