KK Blokotehna-NB is the first team in the final of SIGAL UNIQA Balkan League F4. That became fact after the Gevgelija team defeated BC Academic Bultex 99 by 79-74 in the semifinal. It was a hard fought game from start to finish as both sides gave it their all to get the victory. In the end the team from Plovdiv went few minutes without a basket and the North Macedonian side managed to get the win and go its first ever BIBL final.

Both teams had a tough start as you could see the pressure from this being a semifinal. Bloktotehna was the one who led for most of the time but near the end of the first quarter Bachev caught fire and thanks to his 8 straight points, Academic went up by 3. Shortly after the second period started the Plovdiv side hit three triples in a row to make a 9-2 run and go up by 9. The team continued to have the advantage after that and when it was 8 points, the Yellows made a run. They finished the first half on an 11-2, cappedby a Penn triple, and went in to the locker room leading by 1.

The second half started with an 8-0 run for the Plovdiv team as they re-took the lead. Blokotehna though managed to recover and thanks to some timely baskets not only managed to go up once again but also to take 5-points advantage in the fnal quarter. In it the Macedonians kept leading as Academic cut the deficit to 1 with 04:04 to go. After that though the team′s offense couldn′t find the net and Blokotehna took advantage. They scored the next 5 points to go up by 6 and finally after three minutes and a half Gruev scored a triple to cut the deficit to 3. Then Nikolikj missed free throws and Vitkovic made two on the other end so so the gap was just 1 with 20 seconds to play. Then Penn was fouled and made his free throws, Vitkovic missed a triple and when Nikolikj scored once with 8.5 seconds to go the difference became 4 points and the winner was decided.

Marjan Mladenovikj led the winners with 22 points, 8 rebounds and some key made free throws near the end. Brandon Penn had 18 points and 7 rebounds as Stevan Gligorijevikj had his best game of the season with 17 points.

Vasil Bachev and Mladen Vitkovic were the top scorers for Academic with 16 points each. Aleksandar Gruev also did well with 11 points but unfortunately for them it wasn′t enough.
