Domestic leagues: Blokotehna destroys the champions, Kozuv wins without playing

KK Blokotehna-NB recorded a great win in the fourth round of Macedonian Superleague. The Gevgelija team visited the champions and Cup holders Rabotnicki and played a superb game before taking an 82-63 victory.

The visitors won all four quarters as they performed really good on defense. Thanks to that they were building their advantage steadily throughout and eventually shocked the previous league leaders.

Kenet Funderburg was the top performer for the winners with 32 points. Stefan Gligorievikj also did very well by adding 16 and 8 rebounds while the point-guard Marjan Mladenovikj had 16 assists in the game.

The other team from Gevgelija - KK Kozuv also won this round but without playing. The team was supposed to meet KK Kumanovo 2009 but won by forfeit 20-0 due to some financial problems to the opponent team.

Blokotehna is now third in the standings with 17-7 record but has also one more game than Gostivar. Kozuv in the meantime is fifth with 13-11 record.
