Kosovo federation accepts KB Peja in first division, the team may return to BIBL

Peja may return to BIBL

After a one year absence KB Peja is set to return to the Kosovo first division, announced the federation. At a board meeting the request of the club was accepted and once all the issues with KBF and fulfill all the requirements, the team will receive the green light to be once again a part of the elite of the country.

In the meantime the management of KB Peja is in talks with the Balkan League about a possible return to the competition. The BIBL management is in a continuous contact with the Kosovo federation so a decision could be taken in the next few days.

Peja has played a total of four seasons in the Balkan League in the past achieving its best result in 2017 by reaching the semifinals. In the past two season the team didn′t take part in the competition but is now negotiating to do so again in order to try and best that result.
