Domestic leagues: Academic Bultex 99 defeated away from home

BC Academic Bultex 99′s run of five straight wins in all competition came to an end. The team was beaten away by Levski Lukoil 64-96 and suffered its fifth defeat in Bulgarian league. 

The home side started strong and scored the first 9 points in the game. They didn′t look back after as quickly took a double-digit lead and the visitors had no answer for them in the first half. At the break the difference became 31 points and the second half was just a formality.

Vasil Bachev was the top scorer for Academic with 17 points as Obrad Tomic had a double-double with 16 and 10 rebounds.

After 9 rounds Academic is sitting in 6th place in the standings with 4 wins and 5 defeats.
