Rahoveci waiting for the unbeaten Academic Bultex 99

The second game of the new year sees KB Rahoveci hosting BC Academic Bultex 99. It will start at 19.00 hrs local time and will be broadcast LIVE on YouTube and SportMedia.tv.

The home side did a lot of changes to the roster in recent weeks and released few players. They added Jabari Craig under the basket and Altin Morina at the point guard position. They also have good scorer in McFolley, they have Davis and the experience of Veseli. Those are the player Marjan Ilievski can count mostly on for the game tonight and if Rahoveci is to start the year well, they need to perform to their best.

Academic comes to Kosovo as the only unbeaten team in the competiton and will try to continue that trend. The team will be without its starting center Obrad Tomic which could turn out to be a problem given the physical presence of Craig. The Plovdiv team however has already shown before that it can play well without him and will try to adopt a fast style. Smith and Bachev will have to be the ones who will look to start the running and the experience of Gruev, the energy of Sekulov and Hristov will be needed as well. Tenchev and Knezevic are questionable for the game and if they don′t play then Cedrick Bowen will be the only available player under the basket and it will surely be hard for Academic to cope only with him.
