Maccabi Rishon LeZion fought hard but came up short against Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem at home in the opening round of Delasport Balkan League. Here is what the head coach Guy Goodes and the best player on the court - Isaiah Taylor had to say once the game was over:

Guy Goodes: "We fought for 45 minutes. I think we had a chance to win even with a shorter rotation but came up short. We didn′t have Tishman at the point guard position and we are missing one other foreign guard. However I′m proud of my players for the way they fought and for doing what they had to do. Hopefully we′ll get the next one."

Isaiah Taylor was the top scorer on the court with 27 points. Here are his words following the defeat: "We had a hard game but unfortunately fell short at the end. The team played hard. I think we are a feisty team and we come to compete everyday."
