Maccabi Next Urban Haifa signs Glen Rice

Maccabi Next Urban Haifa made an important signing to strengthen its forward positions. The team added Glen Rice Jr. who is the son of the former NBA champion - Glen Rice.

It will be the second time in which Rice will play in Israel. Back in 2017/2018 he was a part of current Delasport Balkan League champions - Hapoel Holon and played a key role for the team's Israeli Cup victory as he was chosen as the MVP. Early in his career Rice was a part of Washington Wizards and has also played in South America, Lithuania and the Philippines.

He is expected to join Maccabi in the next few days but it's still unclear when he's going to make his debut. Next week Maccabi will play its first game in Delasport BIBL this season by visition Hapoel Nufar Energy Galil Elion.
