CSU Brasov lost at home, Dinamo with a tough win in Romanian A Division
Mihail Paul was the best scorer for Dinamo
Dinamo Bucharest and CSU Cuadripol Brasov had different success during the weekend in their games from Romanian Division A. Both teams played at home but only one of two Eurohold Balkan League participants won their match. CSU Cuadripol Brasov lost at home against CS Otopeni 83-89 while Dinamo Bucharest defeat Arges Pitesti 69-66.
Mihail Paul had 17 points and Viorel Mocanu and Claudiu Fometescu added 14 apiece for Dinamo’s fourth win in Romanian league. After this victory Dinamo is currently on 10th place with record of 4-7 while a step above is CSU Cuadripol Brasov but they have 6 wins from 10 games.
While CSU Cuadripol Brasov will have a day off in the midweek in Eurohold Balkan League, Dinamo Bucharest will visit Levski in Sofia this coming Thursday in order to keep their chances to get place in quarterfinals alive. Both teams have one win so far.
Next Saturday CSU Cuadripol play away at SCM “U” Craiova while Dinamo Bucharest visit current leaders at the table in Romanian A Division – Energia Rovinari.
