Attractive show in Macedonian All Star Game, Shay Shtriks with special award

Sveti Nikole was a host for the Macedonian All Star Game that took place last Saturday in local “Tsar Samouil” Arena. The newly promoted club Ovche Polje was the host and they did show their organization is one of the best in the country. This club was promoted by Macedonian Basketball Federation in place of KK Strumica – club that withrew for financial reasons from this year competition. For two hours 1000 spectators watched great spectacle with the best players, coaches, referees and other staff involved.

Donald Cole from Feni Industries was selected as MVP of the game. Aleksandar Dimitrovski was the best 3-point shooter while the Slam Dunk contest belong to Slobodan Mihajlovski.

About 30 players, coaches, dancing groups, attractive contest of Slam Dunk and 3-point shootout, awards fro the fans were only part of the show that everbody enojed in full arena. The result of the match wasn’t that important as everybody left the hall as a winner.

There was a standing ovations for the best players, coaches and other staff that helped 2008 to become best year in basketball history of Macedonia. Macedonian legendary player Vrbica Stefanov received his award for his achievement for promotion of this sport in the country. All fans will remember that spectacle for long time.

The Sports Director of Eurohold Balkan League Shay Shtriks was a guest of the All Star Game and received a special award for his accomplishment overall to Macedonian basketball. Daniel Dimevski – the president of Macedonian Basketball Federation personally presented the award.
