Two derby games left in each regular season group

Euroins Cherno More is fighting for better place

There is only two games left in each group of regular season in Eurohold Balkan League. Today macedonian champions Feni Industries will visit Euroins Cherno More in Varna in Group A while tomorrow Mega Hypo Leasing travel to Skopje to play versus Fersped Rabotnicki for last game in Group B. The winners of both groups are known – Swisslion Takovo and Rilski Sportist and also two teams that couldn’t reach the quarterfinal playoffs – Dinamo Bucharest and CSU Cuadripol Brasov. All other teams still don’t know where will end up and which opponent will have for the next stage of the competition.

Euroins Cherno More won in dramatic fashion last week in Brasov to secure their place in the next round. Today in Varna they will face Feni Industries in first home court appearance for coach Predrag Badnjarevic in Eurohold Balkan League. In Romania he made his debut but today for the first time in regional competition he will show up against Feni Industries.

Victory for Euroins Cherno More will give them at least third place in the group A. However if they defeat Feni by 14 or more points will move them up to second place at the end of this round. In order to secure their second place Feni Industries need a victory or loss up to 13 points. Otherwise they will finish third.

Tomorrow in Skopje Fersped Rabotnicki will try to come back on winning track in very important home game against Mega Hypo Leasing, last one for regular season in Eurohold Balkan League. Last night the players of coach Marin Dokuzovski lost at home for the first time this season as bulgarian side Rilski Sportist went home with 92-87 victory. Still Fersped Rabotnicki have a chance to get second place and home court second game in quarterfinals but that will happen only if they are able to defeat young serbian team tomorrow night. Loss will put them at third place in Group B.

For Mega Hypo Leasing win will move them to second place while loss will drop them to fourth and will set up a serbian derby in quarterfinals against Swisslion Takovo.
