Fersped Rabotnicki allowed only 5 five last quarter points and won by 21 points derby game versus MZT Skopje – 93-72. Their opponent just stopped to play during the last 10 minutes which resulted in 22-2 run by the players of coach Marin Dokuzovski.

One of the main reasons for another triumph in local Macedonian league for Fersped Rabotnicki were 11 three pointer shots (42 % behind the arc), some of them in key moments of the game. Despite playing without two of their best players in Aleksandar Dimitrovski and Toni Grncarov, Ferpsed showed that currently they are much better than their opponent.

“I just don’t know what happened. We were even with big rival until the last quarter but all of sudden we couldn’t do it. Maybe we had too much desire to win this game”, said the head coach of MZT Skopje Aleksandar Petrovic.

Dime Tasovski scored 16 points while Bojan Trajkovski added 14 despite he played only 10 minutes on the court.

Center Milorad Damjanac was the best scorer for MZT Skopje with 14 (plus 15 rebounds) and Darko Radulovic added 12 points.

Feni Industries didn’t have any problems against the last placed team on the table – Ovce Polje. Team of coach Emil Rajkovic won 83-72 and continue to lead in Macedonia together with Fersped Rabotnicki. They have 15 wins from 17 games.

Despite winning easy in Macedonia over the weekend, both teams – Feni Industries and Fersped Rabotnicki will have to erase 16 points deficit against Bulgarians Levski and Euroins Cherno More in second legs of quarterfinals of Eurohold Balkan League. First Fersped Rabotnicki tomorrow night will play against Cherno More while Wednesday Feni Industries face Levski. Both games will tip off at 19.00 local time and will be televised by Sitel 3.
