Shay Shtriks: Information regarding convincing Stoykov to go back in Varna is not true

Shay Shtriks denied information about Stoykov

The Sports Director of Eurohold Balkan league Shay Shtriks denied the information that he has tried to convince Todor Stoykov to finish his career in Varna. He was very surprised of the article published in 7 Days Sport newspaper involving his name.

"The information that went out in 7 days sport and was copied by a lot of other medias is not true" said for the official site of Eurohold Balkan league Shtriks. "We are very good friends but I have never tried to convince him to move to another team. Those statements are completely wrong and are only causing intrigue between the team he plays for and Todor himself. He is very big professional and is doing his job in the best way on and off the court. Above that some people are blaming me for something I have never said and the people who know me know that I will not do something like this. I`m very dissapointed from this edition`s article and I want them to deny this report and make an excuse for it."

Shay Shtriks added also that the project Eurohold Balkan league has caused a lot if interest in the region with his first edition this year and all the countries and participants are happy from what was made in such a short space of time. From the next year the competition will be even stronger and there will be some talks about possible inclusion of new countries in the tournament. The negotiations with different federations will continue and is only a matter of time for other countries to come in and raise the level of the league.
