Shay Shtriks: At the Final Four we will have the best teams, the best referees, the best conditions

The Sports Director of Eurohold Balkan League Shay Shtriks:

“I want to thank all for the support during the whole season. I`m the one responsible for everything from sporting character and that`s why I`m focused on it. I think that the tournament so far is on a very high level, the best four teams have qualified for the Final Four. One of the favourites, Swisslion Takovo is missing but the young players of Mega Hypo Leasing showed a big progress in the last games and deserved the right to be between those teams. On the Final Four will be of course also the best referees from the season, I can guarentee that the organiziation will be on a worls class level.

At the opening day we will have a press conference with the coaches, the captains and the managers of all teams at the Final Four at lunch time. At the same time on the next day we will discuss on a work meeting with the representatives of all the federations our ideas for the future of this league.

The opening of the Final Four will be at 17.00 o’clock local time on march 24 in Arena Samokov. We will have quite few VIP guests such are Sports Director of FIBA Europe Kosta Iliev, the boss of the referees in ULEB Costas Rigas, some representatives from Adriatic League, Izrael, Romania, Turkey, Montenegro, Serbia. Also we will have people from Kavala and Vojvodina, teams that would like to be included in the competition for next year.”
