Is your team ready for the Final Four, do you have any injured players or other problems in the team?

“We have no problems with injuries. We are ready, we started to prepare right after the end of the Final Eight of the Bulgarian Cup in Pleven. We are ready to play against all of the other participants in the Eurohold Balkan League – Mega Hypo Leasing, Feni Industries and Ferpsed Rabotnicki.”

What is your opinion of the Eurohold Balkan League?

“Great idea, very good competition, 90 % of the games were very tight, lots of young players receive opportunities to play in this international tournament.”

What do you think about your semifinal opponent?

“Very talented team, very well prepared, with big desire to win. Despite we won couple of games with single point in the last seconds, we have to respect them tomorrow night. You can say that we were lucky in those games. Mega Hypo Leasing is very good team despite they ended as fourth team in our regular season group.”

Your chances at the semifinal?

“Chances are even. In every competition with elimination chances are 50/50. I expect a full arena tomorrow and this fact to help us and motivate additionally my players.”

Who is the main favorite to win it all?

“If I have to be objective I would say Fersped Rabotnicki.”

Anything you would like to add?

“It was much easier in the beginning when all other recognized our team as a small town team. However after all those wins people understood that we are factor in Bulgarian basketball, maybe even in the Balkans. We didn’t change any player during the season. I hope our successful games in Arena Samokov will continue.”
