Petar Georgiev: We achieved something big for basketball in Samokov and Bulgaria

Rilski Sportist club president Petar Georgiev:
 
"I am very happy. I never expected anything like that to happen in this town. We started it all 16 years ago and the beginning was very tough; now this success brings further expectations we have to live up to. We achieved something big for basketball not only in Samokov, but in Bulgaria too. I am very happy for the guys and the coach too, they are a great team. With Aca`s arrival the mentality was changed completely and the results were quick to come too. To all of you I could only wish to be able to come to Samokov more often and watch good basketball like the one that was played here these last two days."
