Board of Directors of Eurohold Balkan League will have official meeting at the end of May

At the end of the month of May (29-30) in "SPA Hotel Tsarsko Selo" in Sofia The Board of Directors of Eurohold Balkan International Basketball League will have official meeting with all federations that will participate in the new 2009/2010 season of second edition of Eurohold Balkan League. So far there is already few names known to take place in the next season:

Timisoara

Montenegro

Mornar Bar

Lovcen Cetinje

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Sloboda Dita

Serbia

Mega Hypo Leasing

Vojvodina Novi Sad

Bulgaria

Rilski Sportist (winner of last edintion)

FYR of Macedonia

Feni Industries

Fersped Rabotnicki

Bulgaria will have at least one more spot but there is chance also to have third team together with Serbia if Board of Directors of Eurohold BIBL decide to go with a format of 14 teams (2 Groups by 7 teams each).

Also Israel will have one representative in the Eurohold BIBL for next season. The team will be decided after the end of the Final Four of Israeli League next week in Nikoa Arena in Tel Aviv.

Asen Hristov - Chairman of the Board of Directors of EUROHOLD i Lubomira Genova - Competition Manager and Shay Shtriks - Sports Director of the Balkan League will attend the venue and will have a meeting with Avner Kopel - Chairman of Israei Winner League, Shimon Misrahi - Chairman of Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, Danny Klein - Chairman na Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem, Eduardo Portela - ULEB President, Jose Vendrell - ULEB Director of Public Relations, Joan Roca - ULEB Director of Scouting, Jan Pommer - Chairman of the German League.

Until the end of the month of May the new format of Eurohold BIBL will be known as there will be either 12 or 14 teams to participate next season. Interest from all countries is very high so the Board of the competition might decide to increase the numbers of the teams to 14.
